Yuzu is part of the citrus fruit family and hails from East Asia. While it is not very common in the Western world it is an integral part of Japanese cuisine. Yuzu is very tart and its flavour is often described as a cross between a grapefruit and a lime. Its juice can add a deliciously fragrant touch to any dish that requires a little citrus flair. Add a few drops to your fish marinade or salad dressing.
