This cheddar is dense and fudgy in texture with  a savoury rich flavour. Created in the Somerset hills just seven miles aways from Cheddar Gorge, it is produced in the traditional methods using raw milk and cloth. The milk for the cheese comes from Puxton Farm, for it’s ‘perfect’ milk, coming from a herd of cows that are cross-bred Jersey cows and Holstein pedigree. The Jersey milk contributes to the moist and creamy texture, which is unusual to find in regular cheddar.

The cheese is matured for around twelve months to reach it’s best flavour, of which has earned multiple awards. This is definitely a cheese to try on your British cheeseboard!
