A whole lobe of the very finest duck foie gras. Once cooked this can be served on warm toast or it can be used as the key ingredient for a delicious terrine. Lightly season and fry the foie gras to make a delicious smooth and buttery spread for hot ciabatta bread. For even greater results when the foie gras has been removed from the pan, deglaze the frying pan with sherry, add a knob a butter and then season to make a lovely sauce. This sauce can then be poured over the slices of toasted ciabatta to serve with the foie gras.
