Wagyu Joints

There is a Wagyu joint roast for every occasion.

We are proud to sell the finest Wagyu available in the UK - 100% Wagyu cattle raised in the Kagoshima prefecture of Japan in line with strict cattle rearing regulations.

Wagyu is a breed of cattle from Japan, translated as Japanese cow. Many chefs and food lovers consider it to be the best beef money can buy.

We also offer high-quality British Wagyu beef like this Kobe-style Wagyu rump cap, as well as Australian and Chilean varieties.

To help you make the difference between the range of different prices of our Wagyu joints, follow the Beef Marble Score (BMS). This grading system starts from 3 to 12 and is given to each carcass, determined by the density of muscle fat found between the 12th and 13th ribs. In addition, Japanese Wagyu is also assigned a letter from A to C and a number from 1 to five, with A5 being the highest quality attainable. Discover more about Beef Marble Score grading on our blog.

For a Sunday roast, choose your favourite piece of our range such as this Wagyu Topside Beef Joint, and delight your friends and family with a slow-cooked Wagyu joint straight out of the oven, stock, and seasonal veggies.

Learn how to cook Wagyu beef with the multiple recipes available on Drogo's Kitchen, like this Wagyu Sirloin Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, or try this Barley Miso Marinated Tomahawk with Sesame Cucumber Salad.
