1.5kg potatoes for mashing, such as Maris Piper or King Edward
- 200g bone marrow butter
- 2 tablespoons chives finely chopped

- Step 1, Cook your potatoes in boiling salted water.
- Step 2, Drain well and mash with 3/4 of the butter until creamy. Taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
