This is the ultimate indulgent mashed potato: creamy smooth and full of the rich flavour of bone marrow thanks to our spectacular bone marrow butter. It couldn’t be easier: just cook your potatoes and melt them in as much butter as you dare!
Ingredients
Bone Marrow Mash

1.5kg potatoes for mashing, such as Maris Piper or King Edward

200g bone marrow butter
- 2 tablespoons chives finely chopped
Directions
Method
- Step 1, Cook your potatoes in boiling salted water.
- Step 2, Drain well and mash with 3/4 of the butter until creamy. Taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
- Step 3, Slice the remaining butter and serve on top of the mash where it will gently melt. Scatter with the chives, and serve.
