The Amalfi or Cedro lemon is a highly regarded lemon variety originating from the Southern sun-kissed coast of Italy. One of the richest lemon varieties, boasting a high count of absorbic acid, the Cedro lemon is cultivated in the picturesque town of Sorrento.
Significantly larger than its counterparts, this leaf lemon possesses a sweeter but nonetheless zesty juice with a fragrant peel. The pith or peel of this lemon is what really sets it apart- delicious eaten raw or shaved into zesty risottos. Oversized and virtually seedless, this lemon yields a sweeter juice, ideal for fresh summery vinaigrettes or equally for producing limoncello.
Origin: Campania, Italy

||Ripe and fresh, and hard to find in the UK|
||The lemons were perfect! They were delivered fresh and with no damage. Tasted just like they did in Italy! Perfect for baking or in a Gin and Tonic!|
||They were quite good but were not cosmetically appealing|
