Obsiblue Prawns, Sashimi Grade, Frozen, 500g
The lagoons of New Caledonia are the only place on earth you will find the obsiblue prawn. The area is a designated Unesco World Heritage site and the unique balance and purity of plankton in the water creates this distinctive blue prawn. The rare species is farmed by a handful of local fishermen, dedicated to the preservation of the species and the beautiful environment in which they grow.
Obsiblue will wow with their flavour, a slightly sweet and tender flesh that firms up when cooked or is sensational raw. Serve as sashimi, tartare or ceviche to get the full effect of this unusual prawn. Michelin chefs are serving them and now you can too.
