Rock shrimp are a lobster-lover's dream. Similar in texture and flavour to lobster, these little shrimp even resemble miniature lobster tails, too. They are named for their rock-hard, spiny shells that are much harder to break into than many more common varieties of prawn. Thankfully all the hard work of shelling has been done already and these shrimp are ready to cook. Sweet and full-flavoured, rock shrimp have a lovely firm texture and are delicious tossed briefly in a hot pan with butter and garlic or sizzled swiftly under the grill or a barbeque. This product is 100% shrimp meat so you're not paying for the weight of any shell, which makes it great value.

Please note that these shrimp are frozen in a block so will need to be defrosted to separate.
