Muscat Grapes, +/-250g

Most commonly known for its role in wine making, the muscat grape is also delicious as a table grape. The perfumed aroma that makes muscat wine so distinguished is apparent in the flavour of the grape, which is floral-sweet and delicious.

Thought to be one of the earliest varieties of grape, muscats come in many shades and this, the darkest, is delicious with cheeses or eaten straight from the stem. The skin adds a slightly dry, sour note to balance with the sweet interior – a hint at the wine it could become.
