Whole Brill, Fresh, 1-2kg

Brill are found in waters from Iceland through to the Mediterranean and Black Sea. They feed on crustaceans and small fish living near the sea bed. Similar to turbot, brill has succulent, slightly sweet flesh and benefits from being easier to prepare and a little less expensive than its illustrious cousin. Brill pairs very well with wild mushroomsand is stunning with ceps and a rich beurre blanc sauce.

NB: Please note that the weight is for the whole fish; once the fish has been scaled and gutted, the delivered weight will be 20-25% less than the whole fish weight.
