However, not many of us have the time (or inclination) to do this at home! At Fine Food Specialist we stock a range of professionally made stocks, which allow you to bring the flavours of the best restaurants to your dinner table.

A good quality seafood stock can be hard to come by, which is why we stock a premium range here at Fine Food Specialist. Our chef-standard seafood stock can be added to sauces, soups, fish pies, paellas, risottos and pasta dishes for a burst of intense seafood flavour. This stock will work with any dishes made with our diverse range of seafood.

We also sell a lobster glace; this lobster shell stock is very reduced and concentrated, and will add intense lobster flavour to your cooking. Use it in any dishes involving lobster, crab or prawns or try using it to make a glaze for your shellfish on the BBQ.

For something a little different and dramatic on the plate, why not try cooking with squid ink? This natural product harvested from the squid adds an incredibly intense seafood flavour and dramatic black colour – try using it in seafood spaghetti, in mayonnaise as a dip for fried squid or calamari, or in a seafood risotto.

Seafood lovers should also take a look some of our favourite seafood recipes, and our founder Drogo’s tips for the best ways to enjoy prawns.

At Fine Food Specialist, we spend time hunting for the very best ingredients so you don’t have to. We source only from trusted suppliers, so you can be confident you are always buying the very best products available.
