Orchard Apple Mostarda, 140g

Apple mostarda is an excellent gift or addition to your larder. It is more of a condiment or a relish than a mustard. A mostarda was originally a way of preserving fruits and vegetables during the winter months. It is made with fine slices of candied apple which are then placed into a thick syrup, flavoured with mustard oil.

Orchard apple mostarda has a wonderfully tangy, sweet flavour with a pleasant bite provided by the mustard. It pairs perfectly with strong cheeses, like blu cora, and charcuterie meats. 

Origin: Lombardy, Italy

Storage / Shelf Life: Store ambiently (3 months minimum). Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 12 weeks.
