The term malossol does not refer to the breed of sturgeon, but rather the method of preserving the caviar roe. Malossol means 'lightly salted' in Russian; it is a unique method which allows the refined natural flavour of the caviar to flourish as there is less salt - making it a great choice for caviar beginners. Expect consistently high quality farmed Italian caviar with a delicious taste and texture.
This is a great starting point if you have not tasted caviar before. Our Malossol has a good size egg, pale colour and fantastic flavour.
