It’s that time of year again – barbecue season is upon us! Outdoor dining at its best, smoky fire-grilled meat joints, sausages and burgers are a delicious way to feed groups of friends and family. Explore our options for meat and poultry to cook on your barbecue.

One of our favourite things to grill at Fine Food Specialist is our amazing selection of Wagyu steaks. Is there a better way to cook steaks than on a flame? We have a range of Japanese Wagyu steaks and British Wagyu steaks, as well USDA beef. Once cooked on the barbecue, served with a little homemade chimichurri sauce and a delicious salad, like this baby-leaf salad with blue cheese, pears and caramelised walnuts.

Iberico pork is another product range of ours that cooks amazingly well on a BBQ or grill. The fat that comes out of the succulent pork is perfect for a flame, as it slightly caramelises and colours on the outside.

We also offer a wide range of delicious burgers, the ultimate barbecue food! Our range includes Iberico pork burgers, venison burgers, dry-aged beef burgers, Wagyu beef burgers, veal burgers and two different types of lamb burgers. No burger would be complete without a tasty catering product such as a brioche sesame bun and all the toppings! Sausages are another delicious delicacy that we have an abundance of flavours of, waiting to be popped onto your BBQ. 

Pork sausages are so versatile and delicious all year round, from sizzling on a barbecue in the summer sun to baking in a casserole on a wintry evening. Our fresh Italian pork sausages are made from the finest pancetta and have been enriched with aromatic fennel and chilli, before being stuffed into natural pork casings.

As well as the more traditional sausages, we also offer wild boar sausages, which is a lean, gamey meat and has a special flavour! Paired with a little sweet apple, this will be a new favourite on your BBQ, served with a dollop of mustard in a brioche hot dog roll.

As well as meat, we also have poultry options for your BBQ. Spatchcock birds are butterflied, in which the backbones have been removed (saving you the bother of a skilful and tedious job), allowing the birds to be cooked more quickly and evenly. This is a fool-proof way to make a truly delicious meal for your friends and family.

The lesser time cooking means the bird is more juicy and succulent. Try our recipe for Spatchcock chicken on the barbecue, basted in garlic butter and herbs and served with a homemade Caesar salad.

Removing the backbone of the bird and cooking more evenly and speedily means that when barbecuing Spatchcock chicken you are sure to have a very crispy, flavoursome skin and juicy meat inside. We also have Spatchcock partridge and quail if you are looking to create a more refined palate.
