Banon Fermier AOC, 100g
Banon is an unpasteurised goat's milk cheese from French Provence. The cheese is wrapped in chestnut leaves and tied with raffia string. The cheese when ripe is wonderfully soft with a pungent aroma and intense flavour. The cheese can be eaten as it comes, but is particularly delicious flambed with eau-de-vie. A crisp rosa wine from Provence is a great pairing.
