If you thought BBQ corn couldn’t get any better than it is served hot off the grill with butter and salt, think again! Allow your butter to gently melt over the kernels, then grate over plenty of fresh Perigord truffle - breathe in that heavenly scent, then eat. You will struggle to find a better BBQ experience this summer…

Grilled Corn with Butter and Perigord Truffle

1-2 corn cobs with husks per person

Butter to serve

Perigord truffle to serve

Directions
Method
- Step 1, Light your barbecue for direct cooking.
- Step 2, Trim the hair tips from the corn husks and remove any loose papery bits. Place the cobs directly over the coals and cook for around 20 minutes, turning every so often.
- Step 3, The corn is ready when the husks are completely black and starting to peel away to reveal the corn. Get some char on the kernels too, if you like.
- Step 4, Serve with plenty of butter, salt and Perigord truffle.
