A5 Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Rump Cuts, Frozen, +/-160g
These handcut Yakiniku slices of rump Wagyu beef only require a little seasoning, as the natural flavour of the meat will shine through after a few seconds of being cooked. Rump is a lean and tender cut of meat, which is more flavoursome than other cuts. This tender cut of meat is taken from the Profondus and Piriformis cuts of the rump, at the back of the animal. The sinue has been removed, and the meat thinly sliced, leaving you with a delicious and flavourful cut of meat to enjoy. The meat only needs a short amount of time on the heat as it is thinly sliced.
These are amazingly marbled cuts of Japanese Wagyu, which we recommend to cook on a grill or BBQ, or using one of our Yakiniku clay barbecues (a small portable barbecue that can be used indoors or outside)!
Kagoshima Wagyu is incredibly tender with an intense, rich flavour. The meat is heavily marbled with fine, evenly distributed snowflake patterns of fat, which derives from a diet rich in wheat and corn for the final 18 months of feeding.
